SNSD unveils new MV for “Snowy Wish”!

Having wrapped up their “Hoot” promotions a little while back, fans have been wondering which single would be chosen as its follow-up. Like a white snowfall on Christmas Eve, SNSD delivered a delightful present in the form of a new MV for “Snowy Wish“!

The producers decided to use behind-the-scenes clips from the sets of various MV, CF, and pictorial shoots, and it’s certainly a creative way to revisit SNSD’s projects from this year.

SNSD performs “Genie” and “Gee” on MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2010

 SNSD has certainly made a sizable impact in Japan, and their appeareance on MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2010 only reinforces that fact.

For this TV Asahi year-end special, the girls performed “Genie” and “Gee“.

SNSD’s Jessica releases solo track “Sweet Delight”.

Following the solo releases of fellow SNSD / Girls’ Generation members Seohyun, Tiffany, Sunny, and Taeyeon, SNSD’s very own honey skin beauty Jessica has released her own solo effort via a digital single.

The digital single is titled “Sweet Delight” and was released earlier today (13th in Korea) on the various Korean music Portals.

This is Jessica’s first solo track, last year she released duet songs with SHINee’s Onew for One Year Later and also Park Myung Soo for Naeng Myun.

The track is very fun and adorable, just like the person singing it. Remember to support the artist bypurchasing the music!

SNSD’s ‘Genie’ Chosen As 2010’s ‘#1 Breakthrough Album’ On iTunes Japan

SNSD’s debut Japanese single ‘Genie‘ was recently selected by iTunes Japan as the #1 ‘Breakthrough Album of 2010′ on its ‘2010: Music, 2010 BEST‘ chart.

‘Genie’ – which many of you know was the Japanese version of SNSD’s hit, ‘Tell Me Your Wish‘ – received an explosive popularity since its release and even ranked as #2 on the Oricon Daily Single Charts.

iTunes also ranked the top 100 most-downloaded songs in their “2010 iTunes Top 100” chart, withKARA’s Mister ranking at 14th, and SNSD’s ‘Genie’ and ‘Gee‘ landing in 29th and 30th respectively.

SNSD To Release 3rd Japanese Single In 2011

It was recently announced that SNSD will be releasing their third Japanese single, ‘Oh!‘, on February 2nd, 2011.

SNSD first reached the #1 spot on the Oricon Daily chart with their second single “Gee“, and recorded history by becoming the first foreign girl group (Asian) to do so.

The girls plan to continue with this trend of high-ranking achievements by having “Oh!” place on the Oricon charts once more. In the meantime, Japanese fans can look forward to the December 22nd release of SNSD’s “Hoot” first press CD+DVD package, which also comes with a photobook, a photo card, and a sticker.
